Music Producer, Recording Engineer

CJ is a Chicago native from a community of incredible musicians and a vibrant mix of Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Gospel. His love of music took him to Northern Illinois University, where he studied Jazz saxophone and toured internationally with the NIU Jazz Ensemble. CJ graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Recording Arts as his foundation for merging artistry with technical execution.

With over fifteen years as a musician and having started his production career in 2018 in the recording industry, CJ has worked in a variety of settings including mobile on-location recording, live venues, and other commercial facilities in addition to Gravity Studios. Additionally, CJ acts as musical director with Midwest Music Deposit.

CJ’s Mission is helping artists create music that connects with people’s minds and hearts. He is obsessed with how sound can translate into emotion.
